Position Overview

As the Manager of Finance Applications Development you will lead a team of system administrators focused on finance-related technologies. This role spans responsibilities from high-level architecture and design through hands-on development, build & testing. You will focus on ensuring all viable options are objectively considered and balance business goals with technical design and project constraints to meet requirements. 


This role needs a technical leader and people manager. This role requires a mixture of business acumen, finance applications experience and solution delivery skills

  • Work directly with system administrators, developers, and architects to design and build solutions that solve the needs of our end-users in a scalable way.
  • Instill, implement, and enforce development standards about system architecture and scalability.
  • Ensures peer code reviews inspect output to confirm it is meeting defined standards.
  • Deploy, monitor, and support software releases during iterative development cycles using Agile principles
  • Ability to keep up with current technology trends in NetSuite, Coupa, and integrated applications to assess and make recommendations on technologies, processes, design, and operation
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the system administration team such as one-on-ones, collaboration with the Business Analysts and prioritization and scoping of work items.
  • Communicate with senior management on the status of projects, timelines, challenges to implementation, and deployments in a non-technical manner.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ Years’ experience leading or managing a team of system administrators
  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience
  • Certification in SuiteCloud Developer II a plus
  • Coupa System Administration Certification a plus

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $109,900 - $170,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
