Position Overview

The Senior Regional Manager, HR provides strategic and operational HR leadership across a defined region, serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders and ensuring people strategies are tightly aligned with organizational goals and regional business priorities. This role is accountable for leading HR and administrative operations, proactively managing employee relations matters, and overseeing regional talent strategies including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.


In partnership with U.S.-based Centers of Excellence, the Senior Regional HR Manager drives the execution of enterprise HR programs while tailoring approaches to meet regional needs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements. The role plays a key part in shaping a high-engagement, high-performance culture, leveraging data, change management, and strong leadership capability to support growth, transformation, and organizational effectiveness across the region.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Own the regional people strategy, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution of HR programs across the employee lifecycle while tailoring approaches to local market, regulatory, and cultural needs.
  • Provide oversight and governance of regional HR operations, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, and facilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and service excellence.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional HR team, setting clear priorities, driving capability building, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies, practices, and standards across the region.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver forward-looking workforce planning, proactively identifying talent, capability, and succession needs aligned to growth plans and evolving organizational demands.
  • Design, oversee, and continuously improve the regional onboarding experience, ensuring rapid integration, cultural alignment, and early productivity for new hires.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations matters, providing expert guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and organizational risk.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify current and future learning and leadership development needs across the region and partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deploy targeted programs that build organizational capability and leadership effectiveness.
  • Monitor evolving employment legislation and drive updates to regional policies, practices, and processes to maintain compliance and operational readiness.
  • Partner with Facilities stakeholders and vendors to ensure workplace effectiveness      and employee experience, helping to coordinate the facilities/ real estate agenda for the regional office 
  • Oversee and manage regional communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with enterprise messaging while addressing local priorities and change initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant regional payroll operations in close partnership with payroll teams and local vendors, resolving issues and advising employees and leaders on local requirements.
  • In partnership with Compensation and Benefits Centers of Excellence, shape and manage regional compensation, rewards, and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with enterprise philosophy. 

Education and Experience 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years of people leadership experience. Experience in the SaaS or technology industry preferred.
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline. 
  • Fluent English. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Experience with collaboration in multinational environment. 
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 
  • Thorough knowledge of local employment-related laws and regulations. 
  • Previous people management experience or/and managing complex project and stakeholders. 

Physical requirements 

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day. 
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
