Position Overview
Senior Manager Technical Operations provides day to day and strategic leadership to the technical operations management team. This position is accountable for translating the company and operations goals and vision to the vision and structure of the department while implementing appropriate management controls and processes. The Senior Manager is responsible for working with other operations leaders and other internal and external groups to forward team, operations, and Paylocity objectives

• Responsible for defining the vision and developing goals for their assigned team.
• Develop scalable solutions (systems, metrics, programs) to maximize value and performance of the team.
• Create and maintain an effective and positive work environment that fosters open communication and learning; provides feedback and recognition consistently and fairly.
• Hire and onboard new team members for a successful career as a Solutions Architect.
• Provide training and assist with coaching and development for existing team members.
• Facilitate communication through regularly occurring meetings, 1:1s or team meetings both with team members, peers and Director.
• Handle escalated client/departmental issues as warranted.
• Manage partnerships with Sales Teams, providing guidance on client expectations and timelines driving to a successful implementation launch.
• Work across the Paylocity organization to ensure consistency in execution of policies and procedures.
• Coordinates with cross-functional leadership to structure work and processes to achieve mid- and long-term business objectives and strategies.
• Responsible for development of KPIs and reporting over the KPIs to senior management.
• Responsible for leading the team to achieve productivity and financial targets while being accountable to the approved fiscal budget.
• All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of experience effectively leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with Internation Payroll highly preferred
• Experience with managing with metrics and reporting
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as Executive leadership.
• Demonstrates ability to adapt to new technologies
• Experience leading initiatives and developing strategies
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and activities
• Proficiency in MS office and Salesforce.com

Physical requirements
• Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
• Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $108,00k-$165,000k/yr ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined Here .
